Mistakenly reported Funmaster in the last thread; sorry.

Didn't look great tonight, but tomorrow is coming. They need to be ready, and I think they will get the job done

A clunker. A very good description.

That was a bad call on Simmer at that point in the game, imo. Certainly wasn't an elbow. Should have taken all 4 players involved off the ice for 2. Not that it would have necessarily changed anything...

I certainly hope Schenn is ok from that decapitation he suffered there in the 3rd...

nothing will be easy for these guys

tonight was one of those nights

anyone trolling Mase should be banned, he was their best player tonight

they do look like they are running on empty though, not all that fast or skilled to start with, and to win by out hustling the other team only works if they have the energy for it

So I was confused a week or so back when Bill wrote that column about Couturier, but tonight think I found the goal obsessed Twitter troll who inspired it.

These guys have expended a ton of energy over the last month to put themselves in the conversation. 4 games in 5 nights would beat down a well rested team. I hope they have enough to pull this out. But I don't expect many of you slobbenly know-nothing to understand this

Usually what happens after a couple of those scrums or players not dispersing is that the ref threatens to take an extra guy from one side. If that's not heeded, it's on the players not of the officials. Simmonds did it in plain sight (even though it was more roughing than elbowing). I didn't have a problem with him getting the extra penalty.

I do think, though, that Richards should have been calling for hooking on the sequence that led to the first DET goal. But Flyers actually benefited from the bad offside call on Gostisbehere because it would have been a breakaway the other way.

Harrington is injured currently but was pretty solid in his brief time with the Leafs. Kappy is ok but needs to up his game in order to make it full time in the NHL. But he'll get some seasoning with the marlies on their calder cup run and he'll be given more time to get stronger.

I don't control my outcome anymore though. I will miss parts of the next two games against my will and I hate it. If they won tonight it'd be easier to deal with. Now I'm going to be a crustbucket like none other

I work evenings sometimes thus miss games here and there. Missed tonight and will miss tomorrow.

There are still a few outcomes that could happen but the Bruins have Detriot tomorrow and Ottawa for their last game. They are the one's to watch imo.

I do hope this goes down to the last game, that much more fun.

That was a painful game to watch. With the post-season dangling by a thread no one showed up but Mason. How is the team that played with zero passion last night going to win anything in the post-season? DARRRRRRRNIT!

I blame the refs. And the flyers. Was very hard to watch last night. Showed no response to getting pooped on by Pens.
